Our basic model, the WheelieSafe Manual Trolley, is ideal for residential applications where you live on a steep gradient or want to move more than one refuse bin at the same time.
Our manual trolley makes moving these bins very easy, with little effort required. It’s ideal for the elderly, the disabled, and anyone who struggles to move their wheelie bins due to other issues such as a steep driveway.
How does it work?
The manual trolley can handle bin sizes ranging from 120L to 360L, particularly heavily laden single bins, or multiple bins that are empty or lightly laden. It can also handle combinations of bin sizes, carrying them abreast or “piggyback” to fit through a gate or standard doorway.
Moving single bins
Trying to tilt and move a heavily laden bin can injure your back, so our manual trolley has been designed with a third wheel that eliminates this problem. It achieves this by preventing the bin from being tilted too far backwards, which often results in injuries.
Moving multiple bins
The manual trolley also comes with a handling bracket that allows three bins to be carried in a triangular formation or two bins side by side. If you want to move four bins at one time, we have an additional handling bracket (sold separately) that allows four lightly laden bins to be moved, locked into a “four-square” formation. This makes moving multiple bins even easier, particularly if you live on a gradient or need to move the bins a fair distance.
Failsafe braking system
The braking system of the manual trolley prevents heavy bins from getting out of control and running away from you on gradients. That’s because as soon as you release the handle, the brakes engage and immediately stop the trolley from moving. The addition of large heavy duty puncture proof tyres makes your trolley easy to move on difficult terrain and also makes the whole operation very quiet.
Bin hooks
These bin hooks allow you to easily pick up the bin, whether from the front or the back. This means that you don’t need to over handle the bins yourself.
